Register to the Battle Arena

Register to the Battle Arena

0Three days later.

Jrek!

The horse carriage stopped, which made Liu Kang open his eyes. "Are we there yet?" he asked, looking at Wang Han.

"We've just reached the gate; come on. From here, we have to walk as no horse-drawn carriages can enter from the outer territory." Wang Han said, explaining.

Liu Kang nodded in understanding. They got out of the horse-drawn carriage and approached the guard outside the gate.

When looking at all the guards, Liu Kang was slightly surprised because all of the guards had at least a Fourth Stage Earth Realm cultivation level. It is clear from that, too, that the guard to enter the Central region is very strict.

"Stop on the spot!" One of the guards stopped Liu Kang's group, led by Wang Han.

"Tell me your identity and purpose for entering the Central region!" The guard ordered in a firm tone.

Liu Kang stared blankly at the guard, who seemed only to make himself look stern, even though it was just a formality.

Without speaking, Wang Han took out a neatly rolled animal skin scroll and gave it to the guard.

The guard immediately received the letter and opened it. After reading it, he looked at Liu Kang carefully and raised the angle of his eyebrows.

Liu Kang glanced at Wang Han with a white glare for making him a bargaining chip. He guessed that Wang Han and Tang Ji had previously made preparations about everything when he was playing stone gambling.

"You deserve attention with your cultivation level at such an easy age. Let them pass!" The guard looked back.

The guard gave the scroll to Wang Han and said again, "You can only stay in the room provided by the battle arena. If you want to leave, you must have a permit because your goal is only to get this child into the battle arena."

"Okay," Wang Han nodded in agreement even though he wasn't going to comply because he could get out of the connections he had in the battle arena.

Wang Han also led his group after being given the Way by the guards through the gate.

When he passed through the gate, several horse-drawn carriages were waiting at that place, and Wang Han immediately approached one of them to rent it.

"Battle arena." Wang Han said as he gave the coachman a gold coin.

The coachman also invited the five to ride the horse-drawn carriage.

Once inside and the horse carriage was moving, Liu Kang frowned.

[Many fifth-stage Earth Realm Cultivators are watching the Host from a distance]

"It seems the guard in the Central region is strict for newcomers." Liu Kang thought. Iya didn't care about it because she knew that Wang Han would have a way to get rid of them all.

"How long will it take us to reach the arena?" Liu Kang asked.

"It won't take long," Wang Han replied.

Liu Kang didn't ask anymore and just looked out the carriage window.

And, indeed, it wasn't far away; in nearly 2 hours, the horse-drawn carriage stopped, and they all got off the horse-drawn carriage.

Liu Kang stared at a building that made him slightly dumbfounded as it was similar to a certain building on earth, even though it was much bigger.

The place is very similar to the Colosseum in Rome.

"Let's go inside. Inside that hall will be the registration area for the fight that will be held for a full week in less than a month." Wang Han said as he slowly walked towards the inside of the Colosseum's entrance.

Arriving at a certain place, several individuals were seen sitting on a chair at the side of the entrance, and several cultivators were also seen registering.

When the cultivators who registered had finished and left, Wang Han immediately approached the individual sitting on the chair.

"Long time no see, Fang Si," Wang Han said flatly.

"Ah, Mr. Wang Han? What brings you to this place?" Fang Si asked in the presence of Wang Han.

"Enroll this young man in a fight like this..." Wang Han explained all the criteria Liu Kang asked for.

It took Fang Si aback for a moment, then looked at Liu Kang with a fellow. He was also surprised to see Liu Kang's cultivation but felt surprised why Wang Han put such a young genius into the battle arena with such a high death rate.

"Are you sure, Mr. Wang Han?" Fang Si asked, confirming once again.

"Yeah, do I like to joke?" Yang Wang Han with a frown on his forehead.

"Sorry, sir," Fang Si was a little nervous and immediately wrote Liu Kang's name after asking Liu Kang to register his identity as a participant.

"Where is Master Wang Gu?" Wang Han asked Fang Si again.

"Master is at his residence, most likely." Fang Si answered quickly.

"Please give a message to Master Wang Gu. I have arrived in the Central region and am currently at the battle arena. Hand over our room number." Wang Han's orders.

"Okay, I'll immediately tell Master Wang Gu." Fang Si said while giving the room number token they stayed while in the battle arena.

Upon receiving that, Wang Han immediately led his group into the room where they were stationed.

Liu Kang, who followed closely behind, naturally understood that Wang Han's identity was not as simple as it seemed and that someone called Wang Gu had the same first name as Wang Han.

Tang Ji, Tang Kong, and Tang Kuan just kept quiet because they probably already knew about it from before.

"Are you from a great clan in the Yin kingdom?" While they were still walking toward the room where they were temporarily staying, Liu Kang asked.

"Yes." Wang Han only nodded slightly and didn't explain anything further.

Liu Kang understood that Wang Han had other problems with his clan that he didn't want to tell anyone.

It was especially evident from Wang Han living in the Yin kingdom's outer region while he was a member of one of the major clans.

Arriving in the room, Wang Han also said goodbye to go with Tang Ji, leaving Liu Kang, Tang Kong, and Tang Kuan.

"What is the Wang clan like?" Liu Kang was curious.

Tang Kong paused and looked at Liu Kang with a fellow. After a while, he spoke, "Wang Clan is one of the biggest clans under the Yin Clan; that is to say, they are Yin Clan's, right-hand man. That is why Wang Han is often with the second prince, and they met Tang Ji outside when young, making the three of them best friends."
