"Weiwei, your vicious younger sister is a bit of a weirdo. During the break, she didn't play with her phone but read her textbooks instead."
"She seems to be working hard, but what's the use of her efforts? She still can't be in the top 100 of her grade. Didn't you see that she was reading primary school textbooks in math class?"
"By the way, why is she flipping through the pages so quickly? She seems to be able to read more than a dozen lines at a glance. Could she be looking at the illustrations in the textbook?"
"She shouldn't be that bored. It's probably the bet that placed too much pressure on her."
The girls discussed animatedly.
Yu Weiwei came to Yu Leelee's side. Yu Weiwei's delicate and pretty face was as gentle as water. "Sister, if you have a topic that you don't understand, you can ask me. I'll be happy to help you."
Yu Leelee ignored her and continued to flip through her own books.
She was surprised to discover that these textbooks were not as boring as she first thought. The part about human history in the books was quite interesting.
She didn't have to work hard either. It was just that some of the essays and novels in the Chinese textbooks were fascinating.
"Sister, I know that you want to study hard and stay in this school, but you can't just rely on memorizing hard. You also need to master some skills." Yu Weiwei kept on nagging.
Yu Leelee pinched her ear and flipped the page of her textbook, saying irritably, "Can you not buzz like a fly?"
She did not expect Yu Leelee to be so rude and humiliate her in front of everyone. Yu Weiwei's white face turned red with anger.
"Little sister, I'm concerned about you but you treat me like this. I didn't expect you to hate me so much." She looked like she was about to cry.
"You know I hate you, so why do you still want to show yourself in front of me?" Yu Leelee lazily flipped through her textbooks. She didn't even look at Yu Weiwei. "Aren't you asking for trouble?"
A few doubtful murmurs were gradually heard in the surroundings.
"Yes, Yu Leelee is right. Their relationship was originally not good and yet Yu Weiwei still keeps on approaching Yu Leelee. It would be strange if Yu Leelee could give Yu Weiwei a good look."
"I can see that Yu Leelee has changed a lot during this period of time and she's not that annoying anymore. Furthermore, during these few times, it was Yu Weiwei who took the initiative to stir up trouble. Yu Leelee didn't stir up trouble and she's busy with her own matters."
In the face of those probing eyes, Yu Leelee did not even look at Yu Weiwei at all. She ignored her and this made Yu Weiwei look like a clown instead. Yu Weiwei's eyes turned red with grievance.
"It's not like that. I'm just concerned about her. After all, she's my younger sister."
"What are you guys talking about?" Gu Xiuze quickly rushed over. He saw that Yu Weiwei's eyes were red and he felt very sorry for her. He turned to glare at the girl who was flipping through the textbook and asked, "What did you do to Weiwei?"
Yu Leelee looked at him in surprise.
When did this guy see her doing anything to Yu Weiwei?
She was just concentrating on reading and minding her own business. How could this provoke trouble?
Yu Leelee didn't want to bother with this clown at all.
Seeing Yu Leelee ignore him, Gu Xiuze was furious. He snatched Yu Leelee's textbook and said, "I know. You did this to Weiwei because you're jealous of her. You're jealous that she's good in her studies, good-looking, and well-loved by her family. You're also jealous that she's the person I like. Your inferiority complex makes you jealous of her. That's why you treated her like this!"
Jealousy? Inferiority complex?
Yu Leelee lifted her eyes and looked at Gu Xiuze as if she was looking at an idiot.
"I know that you're doing all these because you want to take revenge on Weiwei and attract my attention. You want to take me away from her, but let me tell you, even if you become so different from before, I will not fall in love with you!
In my heart, there's only Weiwei!"
