Happy Anniversary
Two more months passed since Yeong Soon's death anniversary. Anton and Yanmei had already taken a month away on their European tour.
From the cliffs of Santorini stood one luxury resort. It offered a suite with an infinity pool that faced the sky-blue waters of the bay.
It was a sunny day, and Anton suddenly felt the rays of the sun, seeping through his eyes. Taking a deep breath, he opened his eyes and saw from where he lay how his wife was already awake.
She was already wearing a two-piece swimsuit.
Yanmei had the curtains pushed to the side, and she was about to open the door. She only glanced back at him to say, "Good morning, my husband. Rise and shine."
He smiled, seeing the healthy glow on Yanmei's skin and her slender frame. He was pleased that, like him, they both maintained a good figure despite their senior years.
Anton still saw his wife be the most beautiful in his eyes and since their vacation, he had more quality time with her for an entire thirty days. Aside from getting pampered from spa treatments at every stop, they made love or lounge in each other's arms.
It was indeed one of the best holidays in his life. He could not ask for anything more.
After seeing Yanmei dove into their private pool, he himself got up and changed into swimwear.
He soon splashed into the freshwater pool, swimming below the surface in his well-defined body.

Coming up to the surface, Anton immediately embraced his wife from behind.

"I love it." Flickering her eyes, she then said, "I miss the kids, though. I guess we can't help but think of them."
"Hmmm. We can call them later," Anton reminded.
Out of the blue, Anton embraced Yanmei tight, settling on the side of her neck. He savored her scent and said, "Mine, thank you for staying by me - for marrying me and giving me a wonderful family. Thank you for making me experience the things I thought I would hate."
Hearing her husband's words, Yanmei was taken aback. She smiled, hugging her back. She realized how her husband has truly changed since they got together.
She pecked the side of his cheek and answered, "Mine, it was my pleasure to marry you. I love you soo much. Thank you for loving me completely. Happy Anniversary."
Anton pulled away, capturing her lips once more, and answered, "Happy Anniversary, mine. I love you."
