Something Unexpected
Everybody was still sleeping and he, the self proclaimed God of Shinobi had no clothes on.
"Where the fuck are my clothes?"
Kentaro leaved his room in his underwear. He looked in the room of his parents and saw them sleeping with Fumiko.
Kentaro tried to go grab some of his father's clothes. Because he has to be formally dressed to enter the room of the ancestors.
As soon as he set one foot in the room, Tetsuo opened one of his eyes with rage.
"GET THE FUCK OUT, BRAT."
Kentaro immediately closed the door and went downstairs to look for his clothes.
From what he remembered, he had passed away in front of the entrance of the house.
Kentaro looked everywhere downstairs and his clothes were nowhere to be seen.
"Shit! I have to go to the white building soon."
Kentaro returned to his room and took his blankets, cut them in a manner with a kitchen knife to make a robe with it.
He made himself a homemade robe that covered everything with the exception of his whole right arm.
Kentaro made his way to the white building.
He entered, the Elders were waiting for him.
"Kentaro, you have come. Euuuuh, what kind of..."
"Don't worry Elder, this white robe has been passed down in my family. It used to be my grand grand grand grand grandfather's personal fighting robe."
The Elders looked at each other and had a hard time to believe what Kentaro just said.
"Your grand grand gran...? Anyways, follow us."
The Elders led Kentaro further in the building, they arrived in a large room.
On the ground of the room, there was a little circle painted in red.
"Stand on the circle, Kentaro. When you get to the underground of the building, you'll find your way. We will come retrieve you when it is midnight."
Kentaro stood on the painted pillar and the Elders began forming hand seals in perfect coordination.
They all clapped their hands and the circle where Kentaro was standing began shaking.
The red circle began going in the ground with Kentaro.
The red circle appeared appeared again and Kentaro was there no more.
"It's so dark in here, I need to make some light."
'Fire style: Flare Jutsu.'
With his mouth, Kentaro created sparks of light with flames.
The flames of this jutsu only lasted for about one second, so, Kentaro had to do it repeatedly.
Kentaro distinguished two paths, one to the left and one to the right.
"Which one should I follow? I'm gonna try something out."
Kentaro fired a fireball in the path that was to his right.
The fireball was traveling in the path until it was no more visible.
"This path... Has no end?"
Kentaro did the same with the path on his left and the fireball hit a stone wall, only after five meters.
Kentaro followed the right path, he ran for thirty minutes straight. Finally there was a shade of light at the end of the path.
When he reached the end of the path, Kentaro looked at the bottom.
He was thirty meters above the ground. had he jumped like the monkey he was, he would have died.
'Earth style: Light-Weight Rock Technique.'
Kentaro began flying and landed on the ground.
The ground was made of stone and some places had dents and darker spots.
"This place has the smell of old things. Oh, there is a door."
This place was huge, the door was forty meters away from Kentaro. It was a great stone door with the clan's crest sculpted in it.
Kentaro walked towards the door, but was soon stopped.
The ground began shaking, at least thats what Kentaro thought.
The ground was a giant serpent with a stony skin, the serpent lifted his impressive head and gazed at Kentaro with its piercing dark brown eyes.
"WHO HAS AWAKENED ME FROM MY SLUMBER!"
Kentaro flew back in the air and was ready to enter back in the passage to escape if the serpent attacked him.
"PRESENT YOURSELF, HUMAN!"
Kentaro was really frightened while facing this thing.
"My name is Kentaro Fujimoto. I have come here because I have the permission of my clan's Elders to enter the room of our ancestors."
Kentaro tried to hide his frightiness.
"YOU HAVE THE PERMISSION OF THE ELDERS, BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE MINE."
Kentaro didn't know what to do, so he just asked what was in his mind.
"Then, what should I do to get your permission?"
The stony snake opened its mouth and growled at Kentaro.
He felt as if his body had gotten extremely heavy and fell down on the serpent's body, it covered the whole room after all.
"NO ONE HAS EVER DARED TO ASK QUESTIONS TO ME, THE GUARDIAN OF THE ROOM OF ANCESTORS, ISHI, THE LEGENDARY STONE SERPENT!"
Kentaro couldn't move a finger, his body felt so heavy. It was as if something was forcing him to the ground.
"TO HAVE MY PERMISSION YOU MUST PROVE YOUR WORTH. TO PROVE YOUR WORTH, YOU MUST FACE ME AND ONLY THEN WE SHALL SEE!"
Ishi hissed, his hiss had large amounts of Chakra in it.
The next second, Ishi and Kentaro were somewhere else.
They were in what seemed to be a never-ending terrain full of extremely large pillars.
Ishi coiled around the pillars when he moved. Kentaro saw him coming straight at him with incredible speed.
Kentaro had never imagined that he would face a giant stony serpent by coming here, if he knew, maybe he would have declined the offer.
Kentaro had come without his katana, only his ninjutsu would serve him today.
Ishi bit at Kentaro, but he managed to dodge by jumping high enough.
When Ishi had tried to bite Kentaro, his large and lengthy body broke many pillars.
Kentaro saw this and used all the rock shards that were created by the broken pillars.
"Earth style: Hell Zone Rock Shard!"
The rock shards levitated in the air and were then sent towards Ishi.
He was hit by all of them, Kentaro was proud of himself.
Kentaro was hit by something extremely solid, it was Ishi's stony tail.
Kentaro was pushed back very hard. Breaking many stone pillars and crashing down on the ground.
He stood up holding his right leg, it was pierced by a sharp broken stone piece.
Looking towards Ishi, he saw that his attack did no damage to him.
"It's gonna be harder than expected!"
