Turn Of Events
The two of them looked at each other with a big smile. They had delivered a big blow to the Uchiha clan by killing him.
"Hahaha, Kentaro, friend. We have don-."
"HUH....?!"
Kentaro noticed something very unusual and so did Tobirama.
Kentaro felt something cold near his chest area, Kentaro coughed and blood came out of his mouth.
Tobirama was confused. He blinked three times and was confronted to the reality of the situation.
In reality they had not killed Izuna. He had tricked them into attacking each other.
Tobirama's katana was inside Kentaro and Kentaro's katana was inside Tobirama.
Ten meters on their right, Izuna was panting like a dog. He was exhausted, he had used one of his most powerful genjutsu.
This genjutsu abled him to make his targets see and believe things that didn't happen. When Kentaro and Tobirama charged at him together he put them in his genjutsu.
Making them believe that they had in the end successfully killed him, They had just attacked each other.
"PANT.. If you to two.. PANT... Survive, we'll meet again."
Izuna disappeared from their sight and all the Uchiha on the battlefield retreated.
Tobirama and Kentaro collapsed on the ground. They were bleeding from their grave wound.
From far away, Madara saw his fellow clansmen retreat.
"Hashirama, it seems everything is over for today! We will meet again!"
"Wait, Madara!"
Madara didn't wait for Hashirama to talk further, he used a smoke bomb and disappeared.
Hashirama ran to the battlefield. There, all the Senju were checking if there where any survivors.
They also took care of all those who were injured.
A couple of Senju ran to help Tobirama and Kentaro. They didn't remove the katanas, doing so will only make the bleeding worse.
Hashirama had just reached the battlefield. He could feel that something was wrong, he ran towards Tobirama's Chakra.
There he saw him laying next to Kentaro with a katana in his stomach.
"Tobirama! What happened?!"
Hashirama got on his knees while being extremely worried for his last and only brother.
"Let's return to the encampment! We need to take care of our injured clansmen!"
The Senju quickly gathered all the injured and brought them back to the encampment.
There, the Senju with medical ninjutsu tried their best to tend to the injuries of their clansmen.
Unfortunately many died.
Kentaro was pale and sweating, his vision was all blurry. He could feel warmth around his stomach.
Even though his sight was blurry, he distinguished a figure tending to his injuries.
".... Lieutenant... Hiro..to....they...are..."
Kentaro lost consciousness. He could feel death wanting to swallow and consume him.
But there, he saw a blinding light in the infinite darkness. The light was getting bigger and bigger by the second.
"Thank God, he has finally opened his eyes."
Kentaro was silent. He looked around him, he was not in the little shack.
Kentaro tried to stand up, but it hurt him very much. He layed back on the bed.
"Kentaro, you should not move. We have taken more time than expected to get here."
Yes, this voice was familiar. It was Tetsuo.
"Father... Is it you?"
Tetsuo stood up and placed his hand on Kentaro's shoulder and explained where he was right now.
"Yes, son, it's me. Right now you are in our encampment and not in the Senju's one. I'm sorry we couldn't get here faster."
Tetsuo didn't show it, but he was very worried for Kentaro. He was his youngest and last son after all.
Kentaro looked blankly at the ceiling. It was a long time ago since he had experienced near death.
He looked at Tetsuo for five seconds and asked him a question.
"How.. Long has it been... Since I'm... -"
Tetsuo noticed how badly this had affected Kentaro's mental state. He couldn't even talk properly.
"It has been five days, five days that you're unconscious. During this time, we have battled the Uchiha twice."
Kentaro couldn't believe it. He had been sleeping and laying on a bed while his brethren were fighting to their deaths.
For the first time, Kentaro was truly disgusted by his own weakness. He couldn't even discern Izuna's genjutsu that led to all of this.
"I..NEED...TO...KILL.. HIM"
Kentaro was enraged, he wanted Izuna dead. Seconds later, Kentaro lost consciousness. Tetsuo placed Kentaro's head correctly on the bed.
"Habiki, Look for Kentaro. If something happens to him, notify me... Please."
"Yes, clan leader." Habiki had been in this room for five days watching over Kentaro.
Watching over him for couple of days more didn't bother him at all.
Tetsuo left the room. The war was not over, he had to lead the Fujimoto to battle, he had no time to stay with Kentaro and look for him.
He hoped that nothing happened to Kentaro while he was away.
While unconscious, rage and hatred spread in Kentaro's heart.
Izuna made him attack Tobirama. Kentaro did not have informations about Tobirama, Was he still alive? Was he dead because of him?
'They made... me... hurt Tobirama, my BROTHER IN ARM. Just like... THOSE bastards did.... But this time I will... NOT... let it pass!'
Habiki who was looking at the unconscious Kentaro, saw him twitching uncontrollably.
Habiki stood quickly up and left the room to alert the medical Senju team.
They soon came to the room and calmed the unconscious Kentaro down.
"If this happens again, just inject him this, okay?"
The medical Senju told Habiki while giving him a syringe.
Habiki nodded and placed the syringe in one of his poach and sat back down.
"Damn Kentaro, survive my cousin."
Even though they had not talked much together after what happened in the land of grass, but Habiki was still worried.
And so the day passed. Kentaro was unconscious and Tetsuo was discussing strategies with Hashirama.
Unfortunately, things were far from done.
