Kukishoku Jungle
His red kimono was wet and full of sand, it was ripped in countless spots.
He slowly began moving around, he stretched his stiff body and soar muscles. Kentaro slowly stood up and looked around.
"Where is this place?" Kentaro was stranded on an unknown beach. Before him was a large field filled with beautiful blue flowers.
"Mū! Mū! Where are you!?" Kentaro walked aimlessly around the beach and screamed for Mū.
'This kid, he is not here.' Kentaro walked towards the field. The blue flowers were extremely soft when he walked on them.
He walked for ten minutes straight, but he was still in the field of flowers, It was so vast.
Far away, Kentaro could see that gigantic jungle. It was so massive, he had never seen something like that.
"This place is very intriguing. I can even feel the thickness of the natural energy present in the air." Kentaro tried to reach the jungle.
'Fuck, why does it seem unattainable. The more I walk, the more I think that the jungle is not real.' Kentaro wanted to stop trying.
But something told him that he had to reach the jungle no matter what. Kentaro grinded his teeth, he was losing patience.
One hour, two hours, three hours even after four hours of walking, it didn't seem that he was getting closer to the jungle.
"I NEED TO... REST." Kentaro fell on his butt and checked the map.
"Kukishoku Jungle, the hell is that!? Why is the map only showing were I am and not the whole world? It's....weird."
Kentaro knew that Kukishoku Jungle was the jungle he tried to reach. What he didn't know and wanted to know was what things were in the jungle.
'All right I need to quickly get there, there's no time to rest.' Kentaro stood back up and ran like a savage.
Kentaro stopped paying attention at the jungle, he didn't want to know if he was getting closer or not.
Because if he saw that he hadn't gotten closer after three hours of running, he would greatly be demotivated.
Suddenly, ten little monkeys came out of nowhere. They had big staffs as weapons.
"You! Don't get closer!" They had little funny voices.
"Mister monkey, I am lost. I just tried to-"
"Shut up! Aight, follow us! If you try anything funny we'll kill you!" the ten monkeys encircled Kentaro.
Kentaro began following the monkeys while being in the center of the circle. Weirdly, he noticed that they were visibly getting closer to the jungle.
In a matter of minutes, the monkeys entered the jungle with Kentaro.
Ding! "Mission completed: visit one of the unexplored sage regions."
Ding! "+10 000 000p"
'That's why there was so much natural energy here! Wait, I can solve my problem and possibly learn sage mode.'
The monkeys led Kentaro deep inside the jungle. When Kentaro looked up in the gigantic trees, he saw many monkeys looking at him.
They all followed them from the trees, as if something was going to happen.
'Oh shit! It's....the boss!' Kentaro's eyes fell on a specific monkey.
Twenty meters away from him, sitting on a stone throne in the shape of a banana, an old little muscular looking brown monkey gazed at Kentaro.
The ten monkeys put Kentaro on his knees and pushed his face to the ground.
"Monkey sage! We have found this foreign beast walking on the blue flowers of the monkey princess!"
Kentaro knew that he had fucked up from what he heard. The monkey sage stood up from his banana throne.
He walked towards Kentaro and stopped in front of him.
"A beast you say? This is no beast, I can feel the amount of natural energy that you have absorbed. You are unable to control it, look at what you have become."
The monkey sage's calm and deep voice rang into Kentaro's ears.
With a motion of his hands, the monkey sage ordered the ten little monkeys to make Kentaro stand up.
"What is your name, traveler?" Kentaro immediately answered to the monkey sage.
"My name is Kentaro Fujimoto. May I ask a question, monkey sage?"
"Welcome in the Kukishoku jungle, Kentaro. What is your question?" the monkey sage looked intently into Kentaro's eyes.
"Weren't the monkeys in the Suiren caves? Are we in the Suiren caves?"
The monkey sage walked around Kentaro and analyzed him.
"Yes, the monkeys live in the Suiren caves, but we are monkeys that left the Suiren caves. Also, we are not in the Suiren caves. To get here, one needs to travel two years, but you have been brought by the wave of destiny."
Kentaro didn't want to believe it. It was impossible to be unconscious for two whole years.
"Wave of destiny? Monkey sage, if what you say is true, would I need two years to return back home?"
"Hehe, I said that you have been brought here by the wave of destiny. It means that you didn't need two years to come here, nor will you need two years to return."
Kentaro was officially confused. He didn't try to understand what the monkey sage said, if two years were not needed then everything was alright.
"Kentaro, if you want, I can show you the way of the monkey. Are you interested?"
It was too good to be true, Kentaro didn't believe it.
"Are you telling me that....you're gonna teach me the sage mode?" the monkey sage smiled.
"Sage mode? You know much, Kentaro. I will teach you the way of the monkey, PERSONALLY. By the way, your friend was intercepted by us. We have sent him back."
Mū had also been here, the thing is that he was sent back.
'I hope that the mummy has gone after the Chinoike clan.'
Kentaro nodded to the monkey sage and the monkeys of the Kukishoku jungle returned to what they were doing.
"Follow me, Kentaro."
Kentaro followed the monkey sage. He was looking forward to his training and finally returning to his previous appearance.
