The Shinobi With The Straw Hat

2Kentaro had familiarized himself with Daitan and Amaterasu, they even insisted to stay in Kentaro's house until all the clans gather for the summit.     

Yuka appreciated them, she found that they were good people. Fumiko didn't appreciate Amaterasu at all, she preferred Hatsu over her.     

In this late evening, Kentaro was walking towards the clan's medical building. There, the wounded would be brought after battles.     

Kentaro entered and asked for Habiki's room, They led him to it.     

"Look right, now look down. It doesn't look to bad, you'll adapt to it very soon." Sakuya's voice could be heard from the corridors.     

"Is he doing alright?" Sakuya immediately looked towards voice, she was focused on Habiki, she didn't know that someone was there.     

"The surgery has been successful, Habiki has to adapt. He's doing a pretty good job, I think that in one week, the eyes will feel natural to him." Kentaro was happy to hear that.     

"You won't greet me, cousin?" Kentaro looked at Habiki's back since he was sitting with his back towards the door.     

"It has been seven months, Kentaro. How are you doing? You matured a little bit?" Habiki's voice had a little anger and frustration to it.     

Kentaro could hear it, he didn't know what else to do for Habiki to change his attitude towards him. Habiki had been like that since all what had happened in the land of grass.     

Kentaro walked near him, he sat down on his bed. Habiki turned his head and looked at Kentaro.     

"Habiki, I hope that those eyes I have gifted you will help you into becoming a much stronger shinobi." Kentaro really believed what he said.     

"Tch! Let me laugh, Kentaro. Becoming a stronger shinobi, with one arm? That's fucking bullshit!" Habiki stood up and grabbed Kentaro's kimono.     

"Fuck this world! Fuck everything! You came here to mock me, didn't you!? You gave me those eyes to comfort me and not to see me become more powerful! If only I could beat your arrogant ass up!"     

Kentaro was shocked, he did not expect Habiki to become enraged. He was looking at Habiki's right blood-red teary eye.     

Habiki let go of Kentaro and placed his hand over his eyes, he screamed in pain. Sakuya quickly made him sit.     

"Sir Kentaro, you must leave the room please." Kentaro gave a blank nod, he left the room in silence.     

He walked through the corridors of the medical building with a sad expression. Kentaro left the building and walked towards his aunt's house.     

Habiki's mother had always been kind to him, she loved and cared of him as if Kentaro was her own son.     

Kentaro wanted to go and talk to her to better understand what was happening with Habiki.     

Kentaro knocked on the door and she opened the door, she was surprised to see Kentaro. As the current clan leader, his schedule must be busy.     

"Kentaro, I'm happy that you came to visit me. Enter." Yua happily welcomed Kentaro inside.     

She prepared tea and placed fruits and all kinds of snacks in front of Kentaro. She sat down next to him on the couch.     

"Aunt Yua, I just payed a visit to Habiki. He doesn't look to well mentally. Do you perhaps know what is happening to him?"     

"Habiki has completely changed since he went along with your father and the other clansmen to find you in the land of grass." Kentaro nodded his head.     

"When he came back, he wanted to train constantly. 'To become more powerful than him' he said. My little boy only became more angry and frustrated with time. What happened against the Senju was too much to handle for him." Yua was very sad for Habiki.     

"You must know that Habiki has a new right eye. I thought that he would've appreciated my gesture of giving it to him. I didn't expect him to see it as an insult, I guess."     

Yua caressed Kentaro's back and filled his cup of tea. She didn't like to see Kentaro like that.     

"Don't worry too much, at least he is alive and at home. Unlike Aruno, he left seven months ago and didn't come back." When Kentaro thought about it, he hadn't seen Aruno since he was back.     

Aruno was not even besides his brother, Habiki. His eagle Jubjub was still here, but he himself wasn't.     

"It's weird, do you know where he left or if he left with someone?" Kentaro tried to gather some information.     

"He left with a young blond woman. She was the one who lived with you, I forgot her name."     

Kentaro was extremely confused. If Aruno left with her to protect her on the road, then it shouldn't take him seven months to come back.     

Kentaro passed some time with aunt Yua, she was alone and needed some company, but he couldn't stay here forever.     

After two hours of talking, Kentaro left aunt Yua. There was much he had to think about, from the upcoming forced marriage to the clans' summit and now Hatsu and Aruno.     

"Since I'm clan leader, everything is going south. I need to meditate a little bit, my mind is tired." Kentaro went to clan leader's building.     

He entered and walked in his office, a pile of papers was waiting for him. He read them all, those were the reports of the day.     

If there were any strange things happening in the vicinity, food, training, weapon production. All of this would be of a much higher scale when the hidden stone would be created.     

Kentaro filled what had to be filled, he stood up and stretched.     

"I remeber the system telling me that I had new purchasable content. But right now I'm not too interested into looking at it. Maybe I'll just buy the gravity element." at the end of his last sentence, Kentaro felt extremely heavy.     

His mind was assimilating everything about gravity affinity and style. Kentaro lost one hundred million points like that.     

At last he fainted, he had bought something that he wasn't too sure about buying. This would serve him as a lesson, to always think before saying something.
