The Shinobi of Straw Hats

Jon continues his experiment and keep trying many combinations. But it's very hard to find the perfect combination of the 2 types of chakra elements.

"The shinobis who found the perfect combination and passed it down in their clan must be geniuses. Many must've tried to do the same but none has succeeded."- Jon.

But Jon knows, something like this can take years to invent. So he doesn't need to rush things and just does things at his pace. Besides, if it's too easy, then it won't be interesting because there's no challenge in it.

That day, Jon fails to combine the fire & lightning chakra to create a kekkei genkai. All the combination that he tried failed and explode, wounding him. But all those wounds get healed immediately after he received it.

Jon smirks- "It's been a long time since I feel like this. Learning new jutsus has never been this difficult since I joined the crew. It's like when I learned Haki that is similar but different from chakra, making it more difficult. This is fun."

Jon returns to the mansion and has dinner with everyone before he sleeps. They agree to stay on Pasar Island for a few days to take a rest. They also have some things to do here so they won't leave soon.

While staying on Pasar Island, Jon keeps trying to combine the basic elements. The next day after he started the experiment, he realizes that he doesn't know the element created from fire & lightning. It seems no one has succeed to combine them yet.

Now he know why he failed miserably without showing any result. It's because he doesn't know what he'll make and can't imagine anything. The basic thing needed to create a jutsu is imagination because he needs to mold the chakra into something.

That's why on the 2nd day, Jon decides to make something that he knows first. The first kekkei genkai that he wants to make is Ice element, the combination of water & wind chakra. It has many potential for attack & defense, so he wants to make it first.

Just like before, he fails to create it on the first day. But he still gets a small result by making the water colder. It still can't become ice, but he can make it colder than the normal temperature, so it's good enough for now.

For the next few days, Jon keeps trying to combine the water & wind chakra. His progress is very slow, but he still makes progress even though he can't form any ice until their last day on Pasar Island. Combining 2 types of chakra isn't that easy, after all.

At the last day, Jon takes all his orders in the weaponsmiths. He has orders more weapons over these last few days. Now he has all types of weapons that he often or rarely use for battles.

"Do you really need that many weapons?"- Nami asks Jon.

"Not really. In my current level, I can defeat most enemies without any weapon."- Jon.

"Then why do you have that many? It doesn't make sense."- Nami.

"Why? It's simple. Because I am a shinobi and a shinobi has many weapons. I might not really need them but I still want to use them."- Jon.

"What? If you don't really need them then you shouldn't used them. Making these many weapons is a waste of money. You should manage your money wisely."- Nami.

Jon looks at Nami from top to bottom strangely before sighing. Nami doesn't know what Jon thinks but it makes her angry somehow so she hits his head.

"OUCH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"-Jon.

"I just feel that you think rudely of me."- Nami.

"You think? You hit me just because you think like that? It's you who doesn't make sense."-Jon gets pissed.

"Then why were you looking at me like that?"- Nami asks.

"Well, you said that I waste my money on weapons. So I looked at you and thought that you are worse because you waste your money on clothes. You have too many clothes. You don't even wear many of them since you bought them."- Jon.

"T-This and that are different."- Nami.

"Different? How? Ah, because my weapons are useful while your clothes are useless?"- Jon asks Nami with a mocking tone.

Nami takes a step back but Jon keeps mocking her. Everyone watches in amazement because it's very rare for any boy in the crew to win an argument against Nami. They all are very impressed at Jon now.

But that amazement turns into a pity soon when Nami reaches her limit. She resorts to her usual trick, hitting Jon's head again. It is a sure winning move with 100% success rate if used against any boy in the Straw Hat Crew.

It proves to be true because Jon immediately gets defeated. He just lay wasted on the ground with bumps on his head. Nami walks away angrily followed by Robin & Jane while the boys stay behind.

"Is he still alive?"- Zoro.

"He must be dead. Let's prepare the grave."- Usopp says jokingly.

Usopp is just joking, but that joke becomes his doom because Jon suddenly hits his head. Now, Usopp is the one who lay wasted instead of Jon. The grave will change its owner it seems.

"Damn that girl, how could she used violence in a verbal fight?"- Jon.

"That's how she is, so it's not strange. The strange thing was that you picked a fight with her."- Franky.

"Well, it just happens. Anyway, it's time to leave this island."- Jon.

"That's right, let's go before the night comes."- Luffy finally remembers it.

The boys then walks to their ship on the port while talking like nothing happened. They surely don't forget anything and just leave a few unimportant things there. There are just some pebbles and a long-nosed body there.

On the port, Cavendish has waited with some other people. They were loading supplies to Thousand Sunny and have just finished. Having subordinates to do your jobs sure is very convenient.

"Cabbage, are you done?"- Luffy.

"Yeah, everything has been loaded onto your ship. Now you are ready to sail."- Cavandish.

"Oh, thank you."- Luffy.

"Hey, Cabbage, remember what we've discussed and always get ready. We will call you when the time comes."- Jon.

"I know, I will move my men immediately when you called, just like before."- Cavendish.

Jon nods before he get on the ship with the others. They prelare their ship and soon Usopp runs from the town franctically. He has finally gained consciousness after getting knocked out by Jon.

Usopp is angry but Jon ignores him and keep preparing to sail. He finally gives up and help the preparation. Soon afterwards, the Straw Hats finally set sail and leave Pasar Island.
