With all of the electricity spreading across her body, Nozomi fell to her knees, unable to move a muscle. Just as she was about to land face down, Minato flickered and held her.
"It's my win!" With a wide grin, Minato helped her up, retrieving his chakra from her body. Seeing him, Nozomi sighed in exasperation. "When did you do it?"
"When you used your revolving heaven for the first time." Smiling, Minato dusted her off and shifted his gaze towards Shigeo, who was still recovering from the shock.
'First, the Uchiha, and now this brat... Two genin that can use A-rank techniques? With multiple nature transformations? In what world are we living!?'
As smart as he was, he couldn't put two and two together. Where had these two geniuses popped out from? The answer to this question even eluded his great Nara mind.
"So that was when..." Rubbing her forehead, Nozomi deactivated her Byakugan. Minato had used that small window of opportunity --when she was busy spinning-- to use the lightning shadow clone jutsu. There was no way she could've seen it coming.
"I admit defeat... This time, I thought that I could win!" Nozomi spoke in a disappointed tone, smiling wryly. Minato had done a number on her, like always.
"Hehe, maybe next time!" With is everpresent smile, Minato let out a heartfelt chuckle. "Now comes the real challenge."
"What do you mean?" Following Minato's gaze, her eyes reached Jun. Finally, the two most promising genin would have a much-anticipated showdown. "Oh... good luck with that. You have my condolences, Minato."
"This time, I'll try to win." Never once had Minato beaten Jun. Now, he was determined to change that. This was the perfect opportunity to go all out, and he wouldn't waste it. 'No... I have to win!'
Meeting Minato's resolute gaze, Jun crossed his arms. He was waiting for this moment to arrive.

Up in the stands, Akane was tending to Aito, using a small fan to blow some air on his face. He had been unconscious for a while but was finally showing signs of waking up.
Suddenly, his eyes opened wide as he burst up from his seat, scaring Akane. Everything he saw was covered in a red tinge as if he was wearing a filter over his eyes.
'What's going on?' Recalling what happened, Aito sweated coldly. He remembered Jun's hand crushing Kushimaru's heart, and it made him feel fear. 'So that's what it means to be a ninja...'
Aito was naturally smart and immediately understood what his brother had done. It was alls o that he could get a taste of what was to come. Clenching his fists, he took a deep breath. 'I won't back down, aniki!'
"Aito, what- oh my god! Your eyes!" Placing a hand over her mouth, Akane gasped in surprise. "Aito, you've awakened the Sharingan!"
"What...!?"

Jun and Minato stared at each other within the arena. Blocking off the crowd's roars, they both locked gazes, trying to read their opponent.
Even Shigeo --A generally unimpressed individual-- Couldn't help but look forward to this. Both of these genin had an air about them that made everyone excited, just seeing them on the battlefield together.
"I'll have to get serious, I presume..." Activating his Sharingan, Jun finally uncrossed his arms. This time, he would take his time and thoroughly enjoy the moment. "Come at me with all you've got."
"You don't need to tell me!" Smiling wryly, Minato took out his Kunai and slightly bent his knees, ready to go.
